I am curious...did you ever have a "relationship" with someone you met online? Did anything ever become of it? How long did it last? Did you ever meet in person? How did you feel when it ended (if it did)?

I did way back in the day. It was fun and we met offline but it kind of became boring fast. The nervousness and excitement was gone. Obviously we were not meant to be.

I have. She lived in a different province at the time. But knew a friend I knew IRL so I knew I wasn't getting catfished. It was a bloody train wreck. I was young and stupid and she was manipulative and slick. 3 months-ish later it ended in the strangest of ways, but I was so relieved.
My girl & I had met in person once before we took the majority of our relationship online & long distance. After about a year of talking, she came here to visit, we declared it official, continued the online/LDR thing for a year before she moved here. Nearly 8 years later, we're still kicking it together.

I've made tons of friends online, nothing romantic. One especially, this chick named Jenn, haven't been able to get rid of her since I first met her years ago on myspace hehe.

yes. My first real boyfriend I met online. I had talked to him since I was like 13, at 15 when those feelings started to come we met, ect. We were together off and on until I was 19. We are still friends.

My husband of 9 years ( 14 together) and I met on a program like MSN but it was called ICQ. We are still together  I was 17 when we met |

Not exactly online but my now husband it from a set up. My friend met him on an online game and he moves here from sask. She set us up. Been 8 yrs now
