Ok here's the deal. My ONLY and younger brother is getting married in June. At first I was not asked to stand up in the wedding by his fiance' (with whom I have a pretty good relationship with). I was devastated and confronted them about it. She admitted that she jumped the gun and asked her friends even before she even realized that I would have loved to be in the wedding party. So several months after this giant fiasco that happened. My brother came to me, in person and said that him & Chelsea want to have me stand up. So I am now standing up.
I didn't have a "big wedding" I guess you could say, we got married quickly (6 wks of planning). We had a SUPER small ceremony with our parents, siblings, grandparents & a total of 10 close friends at MacKenzie Hall then went to Ming Wah for dinner after. We each had best man & maid of honor, but no other wedding party. We had just had Sammy (2 months earlier) LAME I know.
Well they are having a fairly big wedding 150 ppl with all the fun stuff you would possibly want at your wedding. Don't get me wrong I am happy for them in each & every way! The thing is she is starting to make me angry when it comes to things. One thing was the shoes, we got our Bridesmaid dresses back in Oct. (they are not getting married until June 13/2014). She also found the shoes she wanted us all to have online (though through Payless) back in November. I came across a minor problem. 1) They didn't have them here in Canada. 2) I had told her when we were talking about shoes that I cannot wear strappy shoes, my feet just don't fit in them, I have wide feet. 3) She chose strapy anyway. 4) We don't have a credit card 5) We were in the process of going to Disney in November, it wasn't something I could afford at the time.
Right after Christmas I went online to order the shoes (I got a Visa gift card as a gift) well, they only carry them in BLACK now, not the SILVER like she wanted. So I panicked. She got pissed at me. My mom who lives in the states (Michigan) went all over the place in search of these shoes. Then gets a text from the Bride saying she found a shoe that is similar to what she picked out, to go get those at DSW. So my parents go & get a pair for me. Well I didn't know what size to get cuz I always have a hard time w/ heels as it is, when it comes to size, I usually have to get a 9 but sometimes can get into an 8 1/2. I Plus cuz it was strapy I didn't know what size to get. So my parents got me 2 pairs. Also, I am in the process of losing weight. When I lose weight (have gone through this before) my shoe size changes as well.
The Bride basically said to be "Well I will have to compare the shoes & see if it works, if not then everyone will have to get different shoes thanks to you! I apologized profusely to her about it. I also said I honesty didn't think waiting an extra month would have caused this big of a problem and told her that I had also told her about how I cannot wear strapy shoes. She says "Well in the end its MINE & Ryan's wedding & what we say GOES, whether you like it or not"
OMG really? Can you seriously be that much of a Bridezilla that you have to be so freakin' rude?!
