So my son has this toy story blanket with a furry fleece type backing and it is now full of wood chips/tiny pieces of wood like little slivers.

I have washed it and they will not release. Anyone have tips on how to get those little suckers out as he will NOT use any other blanket and it is so itchy and scratchy i dont know how he likes the darn thing anymore. They are stuck in there.
