for you all,my sil is going to be having a little one so and she has pick out a name "Brayden" but doesn't want to spell it that way so I'm asking is there any other ways of spelling that name? my sil wants to spell it "Braden" but i don't think that is one way of spelling it.my sons said that not the sound of Brayden at all with the way my sil wants to spell it

i like the spelling Braden and would pronounce it like she wants, but you are going to get people that will always pronounce different from what you want. As long as its something you like then that's all that matters. Just look at some of the names that are being used by celebrities!!! Not my choice, but worked for them right. haha I named my daughter Kyra... pronounced K-ee-ra not K-i-ra. THere are lots that will pronounce wrong, but i loved spelling it this way  |
